Dan
Boyle - Chief Instructor
Dan has over 20 years of experience in Fitness
Training, Martial Arts, Weight Lifting & Boxing. Dan earned his
Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in March 1998 from Marina Tae Kwon Do in Los
Angeles, Ca, where he was also an instructor. Additionally, he trained
in Kung Fu, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Boxing. Since January 2004 Dan
has been owner and Chief Instructor of BlackBelt Martial Arts &
Boxing (now called The Boxing Center). One of Dan's strengths is his
ability to work with the novice to the competitor with the same tireless
enthusiasm.
His experience has encompassed training and coaching at many levels.
He has also specialized training in working with overweight (or not)
non-athletic children via a weight-loss camp. Students ages 6 through
adult truly benefit from his group classes or via private lessons. Competing
as an athlete at the highest collegiate level, and working as a camp
instructor and director, has helped Dan learn how to motivate people
to perform at their highest level. Personally, he has competed in martial
arts and boxing tournaments/events as a competitor, coach, judge, and
referee.
As a parent, Dan understands the pressures on today's parents and children
and takes great pride in developing students mentally and physically.
"It's extremely rewarding to see students improve their skills
and gain confidence and improve their self esteem," states Dan.
